We thank God for the 1st saturday of the year.

Psalms 118:23-24

^[c]This was the Lord’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes.
²⁴ This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.

God has already gone ahead and given you victory. All you need to do isto follow on his foot trails. Donot get distracted nor diverted and donot lose your focus

God says- If you are desirous and zealous to do my purpose, I shall be desirous to fulfill all your needs.

Hebrews 12:2

looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

God’s Spirit Poured Out

Sermon : Be strong and Courageous- Thou shalt have good success

Joshua 1:1-9

1 And it was done after the death of Moses, the servant of the Lord, that the Lord spake to Joshua, the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, and said to him,

² Moses, my servant is dead; rise thou, and pass [over] this Jordan, thou, and all the people with thee, into the land which I shall give to the sons of Israel. (My servant Moses is dead; rise thou up, and cross over the Jordan River to the other side, thou, and all the people with thee, into the land which I shall give to the Israelites.)

³ I shall give to you each place which the step of your foot shall tread, as I spake to Moses,

⁴ from the desert and Lebanon till to the great flood [of] Euphrates; all the land of Hittites, unto the great sea against the going down of the sun, shall be your term. (from the wilderness and Lebanon unto the great Euphrates River; yea, all the Hittites’ land, unto the Great Sea, that is, the Mediterranean Sea, in the west, shall be your land.)

⁵ None shall be able to against-stand you in all the days of thy life (No one shall be able to stand against you all the days of thy life); as I was with Moses, so I shall be with thee; I shall not leave (thee), neither I shall forsake thee.

⁶ Be thou comforted, and be thou strong; for thou shalt part by lot to this people the land, for which I swore to thy fathers, that I should give it to them. (Be thou encouraged, and be thou strong; for thou shalt divide up by lot the land to this people, which I swore to thy fathers, that I would give them.)

⁷ Therefore be thou comforted, and be thou full strong, that thou keep and do all the law, which Moses, my servant, commanded to thee; bow thou not from it to the right side, either to the left side, that thou understand all things which thou doest. (And so be thou encouraged, and be thou strong, so that thou obey and do all the law, which my servant Moses commanded to thee; turn thou not from it to the right, or to the left, so that thou shalt prosper in all things wherever thou goest.)

⁸ The book of this law depart not from thy mouth, but thou shalt think therein in days and nights, that thou keep and do all things that be written therein; then thou shalt (ad)dress thy way, and thou shalt understand it. (Let not this Book of the Law depart from thy mouth, but think thou on it day and night, so that thou obey and do all the things that be written in it; then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and be successful.)

⁹ Lo! I command to thee; be thou comforted, and be thou strong; do not thou dread, nor be thou afeared; for thy Lord God is with thee in all things, to which thou goest. (Lo! I command thee; be thou encouraged, and be thou strong; do not thou fear, nor be thou afraid; for the Lord thy God is with thee in all things, to which thou goest.)

You have to proclaim God’s promises. Keep recalling it; keep revisiting it; keep focussed on it.

God’s promise and presence go together.

Receive please instruction from his mouth and lay up his words in your heart

Galatians 5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

Gaatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Acts 27:23  For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve

Message Sermon-  People who know their God

This 2023 God has already gone before you and because you know your God , you shall do exploits

Daniel 11:32b But the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.

You will move in the power of God – Victory after victory in the name of Jesus

Meditation on Judges 4 ; Genesis 26:15-31

 

Psalms 1:3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the ^[c]rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

GOD will be your Rehoboth , God will be your Beersheba this year. When others talk of gloom, you shall bloom and blossom this year becoz of your God.

When others talk of recession – you will talk of the Resurrection power of God.

We will drink from Heaven this 2023 

Deuteronomy 11:11-12 ¹¹ but the land which you cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven, ¹² a land for which the Lord your God cares; the eyes of the Lord your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.

2023 – A year of God’s favour

Jesus is the reason for the Season. Let us thank God for all the things he has done for us this year, God has called you and you are chosen. Let us cultivate a heart of gratitude and bless the Lord

The will of God for us

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

1. ¹⁶ Always be joyful.
2.  ¹⁷ Never stop praying.
3.  ¹⁸ Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

With him you can scale a wall- With Him you can move mountains.

Jesus is your example. Imitate him

Matthew 11:25

²⁵ At that time Jesus prayed this prayer: “O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever, and for revealing them to the childlike.

Matthew 15:36

³⁶ Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, thanked God for them, and broke them into pieces. He gave them to the disciples, who distributed the food to the crowd.

Thank God in hopeless situations

John 11:41-43

⁴¹ So they rolled the stone aside. Then Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, thank you for hearing me. ⁴² You always hear me, but I said it out loud for the sake of all these people standing here, so that they will believe you sent me.” ⁴³ Then Jesus shouted, “Lazarus, come out!”

Thank God for his greatest gift – Jesus

Luke 22:17-20

Thank God for divine protection; divine preservation, divine provision, divine prosperity, divine health and healing, divine connections, divine peace and Salvation.

With God , nothing is impossible. Focus on God – He is making a way for you – My dear sister and dear Brother – Jesus is the way maker – He is making a way for you in that situation .

Jesus – You are the Way; the Truth and the Life.

This whole month -you are declaring and prophesying over you life and making progress. God make a way in my business, in my job, in my son’s /daughter’s life and in my health ; in my finances

The Lord is your strength and your shield. Looking back in my life I see that there are many things the Lord has done for me.

I thank you O Lord!

God says- I have carved you on the palm of my hands and I will carry you to the end of ages.

It’s all about the goodness of the Lord, his mercy and enduring kindness. Where would we be if for not for the mercies of God, we would have been swallowed and destroyed. But we are alive and standing strong in Lord. We thank God!

FOCUS is very important. As preached in 26 Nov Sermon, like Nehemiah learn to focus on God and his Kingdom business. The year 2023 is going to be great , if your focus is on the Great I AM

God will finish what he has begun

Philippians 1:4-6

⁴ Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy, ⁵ for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now. ⁶ And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

Focus, Focus to not be distracted or be slackened – but Focus to be in partnership with God. It is very important for every believer to partner with kingdom of God.

God is not slack concerning his promises. He has already moved ahead and finished it. It is you who has to focus and match with God’s pace.

2023 will be roller -coaster but not for thiose who focus on God and they will be accelerated  to go faster as they keep pace with God and saty focussed on Great I AM

Philippians 3:14

 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

Sermon message:  A remnant still remains

²⁵ Now there was a man in Jerusalem called Simeon, who was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was on him. ²⁶ It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Messiah. ²⁷ Moved by the Spirit, he went into the temple courts. When the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the custom of the Law required, ²⁸ Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying:

³³ The child’s father and mother marveled at what was said about him. ³⁴ Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: “This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, ³⁵ so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too.”

³⁶ There was also a prophet, Anna, the daughter of Penuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was very old; she had lived with her husband seven years after her marriage, ³⁷ and then was a widow until she was eighty-four.^[e] She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying. ³⁸ Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.

Isaiah 49:13

Sing for joy, O heavens!
    Rejoice, O earth!
    Burst into song, O mountains!
For the Lord has comforted his people
    and will have compassion on them in their suffering.

Isaiah 52:9

Let the ruins of Jerusalem break into joyful song,
    for the Lord has comforted his people.
    He has redeemed Jerusalem.

Isaiah 66:13

I will comfort you there in Jerusalem     as a mother comforts her child.”

We are the remnant of God in this moment waiting for the King’s return ,for the rapture. Let us declare his redemption and salvation message boldly to one and all. Be Blessed. Amen!

Let all the other things fade away… Jesus take your place

|Continue to worship. There is a turnaround..

We have free access into Heavenly realm.

Lord- we dont want to have any part of anything that is not from you. Increase our hunger and desire for you Lord.

God is with us and has opened our ears to hear his voice and eyes to see Him. When God speaks there is always a scripture to back it up.

John 10:27  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Message – True worship

Worship is extravagant love and extreme  submission to the Lord

Romans 12:1

 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

You are worshipping God for who He is and not for what he does for you. Whether you say it or not ,He is God and he remains God.

John 4:23

²³ But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

God will single you out for his blessings

Genesis 18:17-19

Should I hide my plan from Abraham?” the Lord asked. ¹⁸ “For Abraham will certainly become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed through him. ¹⁹ I have singled him out so that he will direct his sons and their families to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just. Then I will do for Abraham all that I have promised.”

In your job, in your family , in your school , in your neighborhood , and wherever you are.

You are not part of recession and there is abrook for you

Meditate on these characters that God has singled out (set apart) in the Bible for his blessings;

Luke 4 – The woman of Zarepath in the Famine, and Naaman for the healing
