Our God dwells amidst us. He will never leave us nor forsake us. His counsel alone stands forever but all the counsel of the enemy comes to nought. God will show himself strong for you in your situation. This is your season to display God’s glory and power in your life. God is telling us – You will experience me practically. Rosh Hashanah (Hebrew: רֹאשׁ הַשָּׁנָה), literally meaning “head [of] the year”, is the Jewish New Year. Rosh Hashanah is a two-day celebration that begins on the first day of Tishrei, which is the seventh month of the ecclesiastical year. Rosh Hashanah meals usually include apples dipped in honey to symbolize a sweet new year. Rosh Hashanah is preceded by the month of Elul, during which Jews are supposed to begin a self-examination and repentance.The shofar is traditionally blown each morning. The sound of the shofar is intended to awaken the listeners from their “slumbers” and alert them to the coming judgment.
