Be joyful in the God of your salvation

Feb 04, 2019

Praise the Lord saints of the most high God. Today’s scripture is from Phil 4:4 and 1 Peter 4:12

Beloved! Rejoice in the Lord your God and be joyful in the God of your Salvation. The word of God says, “Beloved do not think it strange concerning the  fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you”. But rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s suffering. So that when His glory is revealed,  you may also be glad with exceeding joy”. No matter, what you are going through, your rejoicing in God has the power to pull you out from where you are.

Paul said, Rejoice in the Lord always! Again, I say rejoice. He went through a lot of trials but those trials did not destroy him but built him to reflect the image of Christ. So, He could say it’s no longer who liveth, but it’s Christ who lives in me. He and Christ were not two different people. He became the likeness of Christ.

The Scripture says in 1 John 4:17; As He is in this world, So You are. So Rejoice! God bless you.

There is power in Praise

Feb 01, 2019

Praise the Lord Saints of the most high God. Today’s scripture reading is from Psalms 33:1-3 and Psalms146:2.

Let us give God praise as we enter into the second month of this year. There is power in your praise. When you praise God, He paves a way of victory. The dead cannot praise the Lord while we are a living being and have life. So let us give him all the praise.

Praise is not a feeling, it’s a life style. No matter what you are going through or the situation you are in, Your praise to the Almighty God lifts you up from where you are to the place to where you should be. Paul and Silas were in Prison after being falsely accused and beaten up. It was not a good place to be in. They knew how to make their way out by praising the one who could bring them out.

While some of us would be contemplating on why we were there and debating on why we shouldn’t be there. They lifted their voices in a joyful praise. Lets start this new month with joyful praise. God bless you

Let’s give Him Praise and worship

Jan 31, 2019

Praise the Lord people of the most high God. Today’s scripture is from Psalms 95:6; Exodus 23:25 and Matthew 15:22-28.

God has carried us to the last day of this 1st month in January. For some, it might have been an awesome month. But for others, it would have been rough with ups and downs. But above all this ups and downs, God was in it. he was in control. So, let us give Him our praise and worship.

The psalmist says let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before  the Lord  our maker. Worshipping God for who He is, attracts him to the worshippers and He comes and dwells in our midst.

Jesus told the Canaanite woman, It is not good to take the children’s bread and give it to the dogs. But she was insistent and she worshipped Him for who He is. And Jesus couldn’t turn her down but heal her daughter for her act of faith.

God can  never turn you down when you worship him for who He is. Give Him your heart filled worship today . Worship the Lord your God and his blessings will be on your food and water. He will take sickness away from your midst. God bless you

Worship God in spirit and truth

Jan 30, 2019

Praise the Lord saints of the most high God. Today’s scripture reading is from 2 Sam 6:14 and John 4:24.

God created us to worship him. It’s worship that draws God’s attention towards you. So, let us take time just to worship him in spirit and in truth with no petitions or prayer requests but just expressing your love to him.

The Bible says “But the hour is coming and now is when true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the father is seeking such to worship. Our Father in heaven is seeking for  such worshippers who can worship Him in spirit and in truth.

King David worshipped God with all of His might. The kingly position did not stop him from worshipping the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Let nothing stop you from giving Him the worship that is due unto his holy name. Remember, you were born to worship him.  God bless you.

Walk by Faith not Sight

29 Jan, 2019

Praise the lord children of the most high God. Today’s scripture is from Mathew 17:20; and Rom 4:18-21.

The word of God says, that Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. So, let us walk by faith and not by sight. Let us hold on to the word of God and believe that, He who had promised He is able to perform His word in our lives.

Abraham hoped against hope means every thing that was contradicting against the word of God, he silenced it by hoping on the word of God by faith(father of nation). He didn’t consider his own body dead nor the deadness of Sarah’s womb to cause unbelief but strengthen his faith by holding on to Gods promise.

Today,   overrule every situation or circumstance that is hindering your belief by the promises you have received from God. Don’t waver or doubt God’s word but trust in him fully. He will do the impossible for you by moving in a supernatural way. Trust in Him fully. God bless you.
