Glory in the Lord and the power of his might

Praise the Lord saints of the most high God. Today’s scripture is from Jeremiah 9:23-24.

Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom. Let not the mighty man glory in his might. Nor let the rich man glory in his riches. But let him who glories, glory in this – That he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord, exercising loving kindness, judgement and righteousness in the earth. For in these, I delight – says the Lord.

God wants me and you  to boast in him that we know him and that we understand Him. let us acknowledge that He is Lord over everything and He is in control over every situation and circumstance. The wisdom we have or riches and strength we have all come through knowing Him. For all things are from Him and unto him. Nothing can be yours if He didn’t give it to you. If He opens His fist, you are satisfied.

Have quality time with Him. Take your relationship to another level with Him. Make Him the anchor of your soul. He will never fail you. He is always faithful. God bless you.

Desire to know God more and more

Praise the Lord people of the most high God. Today’s scripture is from Luke 10:38-42; Psalms 46:10.

Gods wants you to know him more and more. The more you desire to know Him. The more He desires to reveal himself to you more and more. Get into His presence to meet with him like Mary who sat at the feet of Jesus and listened to Him.

Jesus said that what she choose to do is good and it’s for her advantage. Your relationship with Him will build you up to know who He is and helps you to trust Him with your life and everything concerning you and your house hold. He knows everything about you. He wants to tell you His next move for you.

When you know who He is and what he can do you will be still and know that He is God.  You will not worry, not be anxious and without stress because you know who you have trusted. He will never let you down. God bless you.

Grow in the knowledge of God

Praise the Lord, saints of the most high God. Today’s scripture reading is from 2 Peter1:2-4; 2 Peter3:18.

Let your desire to know God more increase in your life. In order to have a deeper knowledge of God you need to spend more time in His word. The word of God gives us deeper revelation of who God is and what He is to us and who we are to Him. The more you know him and have a knowledge of him, grace and peace are multiplied in your life.

All things pertaining to life and godliness are given to us through the knowledge  of Him who called us by glory and virtue. Just confessing the word of God or promises without knowing the giver and sustainer of life will do no good. But developing a relationship with Him will make you have all things. And we know that all things are from him and belong to him. God bless you

Worship God and desire his intimacy

Praise the Lord saints of the most high God. Today’s scripture reading is 2 Sam 6 ; Psalms 18:1-3.

David’s love for God made him know God as his strength, rock, fortress and deliverer. David’s revelation and knowledge of God strengthened his trust and faith in God. David loved God so deeply that when he erred he quickly ran to God for forgiveness because he did not want to miss out on having an intimate relationship with God.

He knew how to please his God. Becoming a King, did not stop him from worshipping his God. There were worshippers and musicians and Levites to worship God as their ritual duty.  However to David it did not matter. He had to offer God his praise and his worship.  Because, David knew who God was to Him and what He means to him. All other things that surrounded him were like shadows in the light in the presence of God. To David,  even his wife despising didn’t matter because he knew that God’s always with him and was worthy of his worship.

Is your relationship like this with God? Do you sing your love songs to the lover of your soul? Does your soul always long for His presence or is it like a routine or religion with no meaningful devotion. Beloved, He is longing to commune with you. Get into His presence. God bless you.

He is a God who is near us

Praise the Lord saints of the most high God. Today’s scripture reading is from  1 Cor 1:9; and Gen 3:8.

Beloved, God made  you and me in His own likeness and image because he wants to fellowship and commune with us on daily basis. The Lord God, walked with Adam in the cool of the day. Likewise, God is with us and He wants to involve Himself in everything we do because He takes pleasure in us.

God is a faithful God by whom we were called into the  fellowship of his son Jesus Christ our Lord. God wants us to discuss things with him. He is a God who is near. He is not a God afar off. He sticks to us closer than an earthly brother. He knows about everything that is going on in our mind. Pour out your heart to him. With our God, we shall do valiantly and always be victorious.

Acknowledge Him every moment and He will direct your path. Experience the power of the three in one – God Almighty. God bless you.

Desire God’s presence

Praise the Lord, Sons of the most high God. Today’s scripture is Psalms 63:1-11, Psalms 42:1-2, Deuteronomy 6:5

“Beloved you shall love the Lord your God with all of your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. Your soul shall thirst for the living God. Your desire for being with God shall increase more and more.”

David longed for God he worshipped God at all times continually. He had an earthly father who never remembered him. He had brothers who never understood him a king whom he helped who wanted to kill him but a God who was always with him because he was with God. He carried God’s presence in him. God fought his battles and lifted him from a shepherd boy to be the king. This is what intimacy with God could do. He exalted his horn like the horn of a unicorn.

Desire him and he will exalt you into places you never dreamed. When you call he will answer you. He listens to your communion. He is a God who hears. He knows who calls on him.  Your relationship with him matters a lot. God bless you.
