17 Feb 2024 Sermon – The blood of Jesus

Audio Sermon

Dear Beloved,

Acts 1:8

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Spirit of God empowers you. Spirit of God sees the whole picture and reveals the mind of God for your situation.

We are in a time where we need the Spirit of God to move. In this month of February – you will see God as your way maker.

Psalms 133:1

You are not leaving but are going to press in , press on and press through the things of God.

God says – walk in my path. Walk in my way. Jesus was an overcomer. He overcame sin and death. Through his blood, we have become more than conquerors in Christ.

Put the word of God to work.  Two important tools for the believer

  •  The name of Jesus
  • The blood of Jesus

Exodus 12 (Meditation)

Blood of Jesus delivered us from sin, from death, from lack and poverty, from stagnation, from oppression, from sickness and defeat.

1 Corinthians 11:23-28

Exodus 12:12-13,29-33

Pharoah signifies the systems of this world. The systems of the world will shake and make way for the blood of Jesus. God has paid the f=price for our deliverance and victorious living by the blood of Jesus.

Revelation 12:11

They triumphed over him     by the blood of the Lamb     and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much     as to shrink from death.

Hebrews 12:24

24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

1 John 2:1-2

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

Romans 5:1-2

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God
